UPDATED QUALITY – the official publication of ISO 9001: 2015

 Problem Analyse Lösung

The final text of the International Standard ISO 9001 was published on September 23, 2015.
“The world has changed, and this revision was needed to reflect this. Technology is driving increased expectations from customers and businesses. Barriers to trade have dropped due to lower tariffs, but also because of strategic instruments like International Standards. We are seeing a trend towards more complex global supply chains that demand integrated action. So organizations need to perform in new ways, and our quality management standards need to keep up with these expectations. I am confident that the 2015 edition of ISO 9001 can help them achieve this” ¬- Acting Secretary-General, International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Let us recall, key changes are:
–    description of the context of the organization
–    accounting of parties concerned
–    the use of risk management procedures
–    strengthening of control over outsourced processes and organizations
–    simplification of the workflow system
Organizations that have already been certified to ISO 9001: 2008, is provided granted a three-year period from the date of official publication of ISO 9001: 2015 for the transition to the new version of the standard, that is, the transition period will end in September 2018.
Also, by ISO it was presented the new edition of ISO 9000 (“Quality management systems. Fundamentals and vocabulary”), that is used in all standards ISO 9000 family.
